Beautiful invitations. Simple responses. Everything connected.

Your guest list is ready, your households are organised, and now it's time for one of the most exciting parts of wedding planning — inviting your favourite people to celebrate with you!

WedPage brings traditional printed wedding invitations together with a convenient online guest experience.

Your invitations can feature a QR code that takes guests directly to their own private WedPage, where they can respond, make meal choices and find useful information about your wedding.

No apps to download. No accounts to create. Just a simple, personal experience for everyone.

Let's get everything ready.

1. Check Your Guest List

Before preparing your invitations, open the Guests section of your Couple Hub.

Take a few minutes to check that:

  • Everyone you intend to invite has been added.
  • Names are spelt correctly.
  • Guests have the correct Day or Evening invitation type.
  • Children are included where appropriate.
  • Postal addresses are accurate.
  • Guests sharing an invitation are grouped into the correct household.

This is particularly important if you're ordering personalised printed stationery.

A little tip: Check how guests would like their names to appear. For example, someone you know as Liz might prefer Elizabeth on a formal invitation.

2. Verify Your Households

WedPage groups guests who share the same house name or number and postcode into invitation households.

Each household has its own invitation information and private guest link.

Within the Guests section, open the Household view and check the people grouped together.

Once you're happy with the names and addresses, verify the household.

You can also use Verify All Households when you've checked the list.

After verification, the household's invitation status changes to Verified, indicating that its invitation is ready.

Why does verification matter?

It gives you an opportunity to catch mistakes before preparing invitations and ensures the private RSVP information is associated with the correct guests.

If you subsequently change a household's details, WedPage may ask you to review and verify it again.

3. Understand Your Guests' Private Invitation Links

Once a household has been verified, WedPage prepares a unique invitation link for that household.

This link connects guests to their personal wedding experience.

Rather than asking everyone to search for your wedding or create an account, the link takes them directly to the relevant invitation.

Within your Couple Hub, you'll find options to:

  • Preview Invitation — See the guest invitation experience.
  • Copy Invitation Link — Copy the household's private link.

You can use the preview to check what your guests will see before distributing your invitations.

Important: Treat these links as private invitation details. Only share each household's link with the guests it belongs to.

4. Connect Your Printed Invitations with WedPage

One of the lovely things about WedPage is that your invitations can still be beautifully printed and delivered in the traditional way.

The difference is that your printed stationery can also connect guests to their own WedPage.

By including a QR code on your invitation, guests can simply scan it with their phone to access their personal wedding information.

They can then respond to your invitation without needing to post an RSVP card back to you.

Depending on your WedPage collection and stationery arrangements, your invitations and QR information can be prepared as part of your WedPage print journey.

A little tip: A short instruction beside your QR code can help guests understand what to do, such as:

Scan to RSVP and discover all the details of our wedding.

5. Preparing Your Own Wedding Stationery

If you're using the Free or Spark collection and arranging your own printing, WedPage provides a convenient Print Pack.

This is a data-only download containing the information needed to help prepare your invitations.

It includes:

  • Guest names and addresses
  • Household invitation information
  • Private RSVP links
  • Household QR codes
  • Wedding details

You can pass the relevant information to your chosen printer or use it when preparing stationery yourself.

The Print Pack doesn't include finished invitation designs.

Before printing: Always check the guest names, addresses and QR codes against your latest Couple Hub information.

It's also worth printing a test invitation and scanning its QR code with a phone before producing the full quantity.

6. Set Up Your Wedding Meal Choices

If you're offering guests a choice of meals, it's worth preparing your menu before invitations go out.

Within your Couple Hub, open the Meals section.

You can organise your wedding breakfast menu, including starters, main courses and desserts where applicable.

If you're offering a separate children's menu, you can set that up too.

When guests respond to their invitations, WedPage can present the appropriate meal choices and collect their selections.

This helps you avoid chasing individual guests for meal information later.

A little tip: If your caterer hasn't finalised the menu, you can continue preparing your guest list and invitation information. Just make sure the relevant meal choices are ready before guests need to select them.

7. Collect Dietary Requirements and Allergies

Food preferences and allergies are important details to get right.

WedPage can collect dietary information as part of the guest RSVP experience.

This may include vegetarian or vegan preferences, allergies and other dietary requirements.

Guests can provide relevant information when completing their response.

Their details are then brought together in your Couple Hub, helping you prepare accurate information for your caterer or wedding venue.

Important: Always review dietary and allergy information carefully with your venue or caterer. The information collected through WedPage supports your planning but doesn't replace direct confirmation of safe catering arrangements.

8. Preview the Guest Experience

Before distributing invitations, it's worth experiencing WedPage as one of your guests.

Choose a verified household and select Preview Invitation.

Check that the invitation shows the correct guests and that the experience makes sense.

Depending on your wedding setup, guests may be able to:

  • Confirm whether they'll attend.
  • Respond for individual members of their household.
  • Choose meals where applicable.
  • Provide dietary requirements.
  • Access useful information about your wedding.
  • View arrangements relevant to their invitation.

Day and evening guests may see different options because not everyone is attending the same parts of your celebration.

A little tip: Try the invitation preview on your phone. Most guests will probably access their WedPage using a mobile device.

9. Send Out Your Printed Invitations

Once you've checked your guest information, verified households and approved your stationery, you're ready to distribute your invitations.

Whether you're posting them or delivering them personally, each invitation should contain the correct QR code or private RSVP information for its intended household.

You don't need to send a separate digital invitation through WedPage.

The printed invitation introduces your guests to the celebration, while their personal WedPage makes responding and finding information easy.

If a guest has difficulty scanning their QR code, you can also share their private invitation link directly.

10. Keep Track of Responses

As guests start responding, their information appears in your Couple Hub.

Your Guests section helps you see who's attending, who's declined and who hasn't replied yet.

You can review your guest numbers and keep track of outstanding responses without maintaining a separate spreadsheet.

As more guests respond, WedPage also brings together information such as meal selections and dietary requirements.

This becomes particularly valuable as you approach the date when your venue needs final numbers.

11. Understanding Your RSVP Deadline

WedPage includes a six-week guest finalisation deadline.

As your wedding approaches, guests are expected to confirm their arrangements before this deadline.

At six weeks before the wedding, guests can no longer make changes to their responses themselves.

This helps reduce last-minute alterations to important arrangements such as attendance and meal choices.

What if something genuinely needs to change?

Don't worry. You and your partner retain the ability to manage exceptional changes through your Couple Hub.

The guest deadline is designed to encourage early confirmation, not prevent you from dealing with unexpected circumstances.

A little tip: Check with your wedding venue when they require final guest and catering numbers. Their deadline may differ from WedPage's six-week guest finalisation date.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do our guests need to download an app?

No. Guests can access their personal WedPage through a QR code or private invitation link using their phone, tablet or computer.

Do guests need to create an account?

No. Guests don't need a WedPage account to respond to their invitation.

Does WedPage automatically send our invitations?

No. WedPage supports your printed invitation journey by providing private guest links and QR information. Adding or verifying a guest doesn't automatically send an invitation.

Can we use our own invitation designs?

Yes. You can use your own stationery designs and include the appropriate WedPage QR codes or RSVP information.

Can evening guests RSVP too?

Absolutely. Evening guests can respond to their invitation, with the experience tailored to the arrangements relevant to them.

Will evening guests be asked to choose a wedding breakfast meal?

No. Formal wedding breakfast meal choices are intended for relevant day guests. Evening guests may still be asked for dietary information where applicable.

Can we change our guest list after invitations have been prepared?

Yes, but you should review any affected household information and ensure that the invitation details being used remain correct.

What if a guest can't scan their QR code?

You can provide their private invitation link directly.

Can guests change their RSVP after submitting it?

Guests can update their responses while guest changes are still permitted. The six-week finalisation deadline restricts further guest self-service changes, although the couple can manage exceptions.
