How can we help you?
Your wedding. Your plans. Your perfect pace.
Every wedding is different. Some couples are planning a grand celebration with hundreds of guests, while others are organising something small and intimate.
Whatever your plans, WedPage is here to help you stay organised, remember the important details and enjoy the journey.
Your Wedding Setup and Planning Timeline work together to create a personalised guide to the months, weeks and days leading up to your wedding.
And the best part? You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin.
1. Start Your Wedding Setup
Sign in to your Couple Hub and open the Wedding Setup questionnaire.
You'll be asked a series of questions about your wedding plans.
Your answers help WedPage understand what you're organising, which arrangements are relevant to you and what you might need to think about next.
A little tip: Don't worry if you haven't made every decision yet. Where available, choose an option such as Not sure or Not decided, and return to your setup when your plans become clearer.
2. Tell Us About Your Ceremony
Let's start with how you'll be celebrating.
WedPage asks about your ceremony, including the type of ceremony you're planning and whether your ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue.
For example, you might be arranging a civil ceremony, a church wedding, a celebrant-led celebration or another type of ceremony.
These details help WedPage suggest relevant planning milestones.
Depending on your ceremony and where you're getting married, your timeline may include reminders about legal paperwork, registrars, church arrangements or ceremony preparations.
Important: Legal marriage requirements vary across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Always confirm the requirements and deadlines that apply to your ceremony with the relevant authority.
3. Tell Us About Your Venue
Next, WedPage asks about the services your venue provides.
Some venues offer almost everything in one package, including catering, a bar, accommodation and an on-the-day coordinator.
Others provide the space while you arrange suppliers independently.
Let WedPage know which services are included so your planning timeline can focus on the arrangements you actually need to make.
For example, if your venue is providing the catering, you won't need the same reminders as a couple arranging an outside caterer.
4. Organise Your Wedding Suppliers
Photographers, florists, entertainment, hair and makeup — there can be quite a few people involved in bringing your wedding together!
Wedding Setup allows you to identify the suppliers you'll need and indicate how far you've progressed with each one.
Depending on the supplier, you can indicate whether they're:
- Already booked
- Still being considered or researched
- Not yet arranged
- Included with your venue
WedPage uses this information to suggest relevant planning milestones.
For example, if you're looking for a photographer, your timeline can remind you to secure one in good time.
If you've already booked your photographer, there's no need to keep treating that booking as an outstanding arrangement.
Remember: You don't have to use every type of supplier. Your wedding plans should reflect what's important to you.
5. Plan Your Wedding Stationery
Wedding stationery is an important part of your celebration, from announcing your date to welcoming guests on the day.
Tell WedPage which printed items you're planning to use.
These might include:
- Save the Date cards
- Day and evening invitations
- Orders of Service
- Welcome signs
- Table plans and place cards
- Menus and table names
- Thank You cards
Your timeline can then suggest suitable times to prepare, order and send your stationery.
WedPage also takes account of relevant stationery included in your chosen collection, helping keep your planning information connected.
6. Think About Accommodation and Transport
Will some of your guests be travelling to your wedding?
You may want to arrange accommodation, recommend nearby places to stay or organise transport between locations.
Wedding Setup asks whether guest accommodation and transport are part of your plans.
If they are, your timeline can include reminders to organise these arrangements and confirm important details closer to the wedding.
You can manage more detailed accommodation and transport information elsewhere in your Couple Hub when you're ready.
7. Add the Personal Details
Your wedding is about much more than bookings and practical arrangements.
Wedding Setup also considers details that make your celebration personal, such as ceremony readings, music, vows and other arrangements.
These choices help WedPage suggest the smaller milestones that are easy to overlook when you're busy planning everything else.
Whether you're writing your own vows or arranging live music for your ceremony, your timeline can help you remember when to start preparing.
8. Choose How Much Planning Guidance You Want
Not everyone wants the same level of detail.
WedPage gives you three Planning Timeline views:
Essential
The important milestones and arrangements you really need to keep an eye on.
Ideal if you prefer a simpler overview without too many reminders.
Helpful
A balanced planning experience, including essential milestones and useful suggestions.
This is a great starting point for most couples.
Everything
A more detailed view covering additional wedding preparations and those smaller finishing touches.
Perfect if you love having a comprehensive planning checklist.
You can change your preferred level of detail as your wedding plans develop.
9. Explore Your Personalised Planning Timeline
Once you've completed your Wedding Setup, explore your Planning Timeline in the Couple Hub.
WedPage uses your wedding date and planning information to suggest milestones at appropriate stages of your journey.
You might see reminders to:
- Confirm your wedding venue and ceremony arrangements.
- Book outstanding suppliers.
- Order and send invitations.
- Organise guest accommodation and transport.
- Collect RSVPs and meal choices.
- Finalise your seating plan.
- Share important information with your venue.
- Prepare for the final days before your wedding.
Your timeline is designed to help you see what's coming up without having to remember everything yourself.
A little tip: Think of your timeline as a helpful guide, not a strict set of rules. If you've already completed something, or your wedding needs a different schedule, that's absolutely fine.
10. Keep Track of Your Tasks
Alongside your Planning Timeline, WedPage provides a Tasks area to help you focus on things that need attention.
Some tasks are generated from information in your Couple Hub, such as outstanding guest responses or incomplete wedding content.
You can also add your own tasks for things you'd like to remember.
For example:
- Arrange a cake tasting.
- Contact the florist.
- Book a wedding dress fitting.
- Confirm the band's arrival time.
When you've completed a task you've added yourself, you can mark it as finished.
This gives you one convenient place to keep track of both WedPage-related tasks and your own wedding to-do list.
11. Keep Your Plans Up to Date
Wedding plans change — and that's completely normal.
You might decide to arrange transport after all, book a supplier you were still considering or change your ceremony arrangements.
Return to Wedding Setup whenever your plans develop and update your answers.
Your Planning Timeline can then reflect the latest information you've provided.
The more accurately your setup reflects your wedding, the more relevant your planning guidance can be.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do we need to have our entire wedding planned before completing Wedding Setup?
Not at all! Wedding Setup is designed to help you organise your plans, even when you're still making decisions.
Will WedPage create a timeline specifically for our wedding?
Yes. WedPage uses your wedding date, setup answers and relevant Couple Hub information to suggest planning milestones suited to your arrangements.
What if we're getting married sooner than the suggested planning dates?
You can still use the timeline. Focus on the tasks that are most relevant to your remaining time, and adapt the suggested schedule to your circumstances.
Can we change our Wedding Setup answers later?
Yes. You can return to Wedding Setup and update your information as your arrangements develop.
What's the difference between the Planning Timeline and Tasks?
Your Planning Timeline helps you understand when different wedding preparations should happen.
Tasks help you keep track of specific things that need your attention, including tasks you add yourself.
Do we have to follow every milestone?
No. Your wedding is unique, and the timeline is there to guide you rather than dictate how you celebrate.
Can we add our own wedding tasks?
Yes. You can add personal tasks to your Tasks area and mark them as completed when they're done.
Will WedPage book suppliers or contact venues for us?
No. The Planning Timeline provides guidance and reminders, while you remain in control of your bookings and arrangements.
